Our Sky Lanterns

This morning the Year 1’s watched three Sky Lanterns. They were floating in the sky. Mrs. Blair held up the lantern. She lit the wick and she had to wait for the flame to get bigger and then she let it go. Mrs. Hazeldine had a white lantern. She lit the wick. She let it go. Miss Linehan needed help because it was dangerous.

Up, Up and Away

This morning the Year 1’s watched three sky lanterns floating in the sky. At the first part Mrs. Blair waited until the flame grew bigger and bigger and then Mrs. Blair let go of the sky lantern because it was ready. Then Mrs. Hazeldine and Miss Linehan let go of their sky lanterns because they were ready too. But they disappeared in the clouds.
